报告题目：Transition and dynamic reconfiguration in late-life depression based on hidden Markov model
报告摘要：Late-life depression (LLD) refers to older individuals who meet the criteria for major depression disorder or who display clinically significant depressive symptoms for the first time in early or late life. Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) of 154 patients with LLD and 147 healthy controls (HCs) were acquired. A powerful data-driven analysis, known as a hidden Markov model (HMM) was used to study the dynamic reconfiguration and transition patterns of LLD. The dynamic features, including fractional occupancy, averaged lifetime and transition probabilities were compared to quantify the difference in brain spatiotemporal specificity and abnormal transition patterns between groups. Furthermore, the community structure of state transitions was assessed. Brain state decoding reveals unique LLD-related alterations in brain networks and transition patterns. These results add to the understanding of brain dysfunction and provide novel insights into the neural mechanisms of LLD.

郭水霞，湖南师范大学皇冠正规娱乐平台副院长，博士生导师，湖南省芙蓉学者特聘教授、“统计学”国家一流本科专业负责人、“应用统计与数据科学”湖南省高校重点实验室负责人、湖南省杰出青年基金获得者。入选“教育部新世纪优秀人才培养计划”、湖南省“新世纪121工程人员”。主要研究方向为医学影像大数据的分析与应用，基于医学影像数据的精神疾病预测研究。主持国家自然科学基金5项，发表SCI论文40余篇，单篇论文最高引用200余次。
